FR-One fabrics in the Perry Lane Hotel, Savannah

We’re proud to say that FR-One fabrics were included in the process of designing the beautiful Perry Lane Hotel in Savannah, Georgia.

Hotel interior design is a subtle balance of decoration, function and feelings. It works in a understated way on emotions and contributes to an overall experience in a way that can be felt but isn’t always easy to explain.

The Perry Lane Hotel in Savannah, Georgia, is a masterwork of this delicate art. Today we're exploring how our inherently fire-retardant fabrics were included in the process of fitting out the interiors of this beautiful hotel.

The Perry Lane Hotel – a richly multifaceted experience

The Perry Lane hotel in Savannah, Georgia, is a member of the Marriott Luxury Collection, and it shows.

This luxury destination hotel features 167 elegant guest rooms, including 12 lavish suites, 3 stylish food and beverage venues, an expansive art collection, versatile event space, and an ever-changing events calendar.

Nodding to the city’s historical roots, this hotel’s interiors are a fusion of beautiful period pieces and accents with modern design.

All of these thoughtful touches add up to a unique guest experience that we at FR-One fabrics are proud to say we are a part.

The FR-One solution

The well-appointed guestrooms in this hotel have views of downtown Savannah – views that are framed by one of FR-One's delicate sheer fabric designs in the colour Ivory.

This partnership was made possible by Fabricut. Explore their dedicated FR-One contract fabrics hub here.

Curtain fabrics have a lot of work to do in hotel guestrooms

Drapery fabrics serve not only as a decorative element, but they also help towards absorbing sound. Controlling the interior acoustics of private spaces such as guestrooms is an important factor in the overall experience of your hotel guests.

Drapery also sets the tone of a room by diffusing incoming light, creating a serene interior environement that's not only restful but also private.

Luxury design is trending towards the personal, the experiential, and the tactile. Our advice from an earlier post about layering fabrics is more relevant than ever. At a time when there’s a huge worry about our disconnection from each other and our environments, creating a positive connection through design is becoming much more important.

Our fire retardant fabrics are perfect for large contract projects

We love working on special contract projects like this one at the Perry Lane Hotel.

Transforming interior spaces through thoughtful design and with our fire retardant fabrics is our goal in life and business.
